New York’s largest newspaper has taken over The American Prospect.
The Times will continue to publish The American Mercury, The New Republic, and The American, while The New England Journal of Medicine will become The American.
The move is part of a broader shakeup at the New York media company, which has faced pressure from advertisers to cut costs and scale back its print and online operations in recent years.
The American will continue as a magazine and will publish a daily paper called The American News, but The New Mercury will become a digital and mobile newspaper, as well as a digital newspaper and an online publication.
It will also be able to offer a full range of print and digital content to its readers.
“The American News will be the home for news from across the country, including breaking news and current events,” the Times said in a statement announcing the change.
The decision comes as The New Atlantic and The New Statesman are both losing subscribers and readers to Amazon.
The New Journalist is losing readers to other outlets, as are several other New York-based magazines.
A former executive at The Atlantic said the company’s new approach will be more aggressive in advertising than it was before.
“It will be a more aggressive, aggressive kind of advertising,” said the executive, who requested anonymity to speak candidly.
The executive said the Times is also trying to focus on digital content, but that the company is still trying to figure out what to do with the newspaper’s print and print digital offerings.
“We don’t have the budget to invest in that,” he said.
“But we do know that digital advertising is going to become increasingly important as we see more and more people consume news.”
The American would continue to carry the New Yorker, The Atlantic will continue under The American title, The American is the flagship magazine of the American family.
The Atlantic and American will both be renamed the New Statesmen.
“I’m really excited about what we’re going to accomplish,” said John Bresnahan, the editor-in-chief of The American magazine.
“You know, this is a huge step forward for the American.
It’s a step toward becoming more like The American.”
